Why Travel Alone?

Some people instinctively prefer to travel alone, while others wouldn't consider leaving home without a partner. All those who are undecided should be aware that traveling with someone---anyone---results in a trip very different from traveling by yourself. It's not that one way is necessarily bettter than the other, just that they are different. In other words, don't think first about who to travel with; think about whether to travel with anyone.

In the next several blog entries I will explore this issue more fully. Just wanted to place it on the table over this Labor Day Weekend (here in the USA).
